Solar power with automatic mains backup
Use the rechargeable battery first, with the separate solar panel positioned to receive sunlight. In hybrid operation the light changes to mains power when battery charge drops below 20%, then returns to battery operation once charge exceeds 30%. Solar-only operation is also described in the installation manual; available runtime depends on daylight and sensor settings.
Choose how the light responds
Select sensor mode for full illumination when motion is detected, followed by switch-off after the set time. The dusk-to-dawn mode returns to a dim background after the motion boost. Adjustable sensitivity, time and daylight controls let you tune operation, while the colour selector changes the light between warm, neutral and daylight white.
Flexible positioning and installation
The adjustable light head helps direct light where it is needed. The solar panel can be mounted separately using its supplied cable. An easy-fit backplate and connector simplify fitting. Mains installation must be carried out by a qualified competent person with the electrical supply isolated; position the panel in sufficient sunlight and follow the supplied manual.
